Kids Week 2017


You’ve seen it on our shirts, but what does that mean? You’ll learn all about how YOU make that statement possible with Kids Week 2017! From August 7th to August 13th,  we will be having events and fundraisers for the Volo City Kids Foundation, our non-profit that organizes free kids leagues!

What is the Volo City Kids Foundation?

The Volo City Kids Foundation began in the spring of 2015 as a passion project for Giovanni Marcantoni, CEO of Volo City. We remove the barriers to participation for those who need the opportunity the most. We provide free, organized play within the community. In addition to the weekly practice and game coaching, we provide postgame meals that give players and parents the opportunity to meet others within the community as well as connect with our volunteers.

How can I help?

Volunteer! Not only do our volunteers get to play and teach kids a sport for an afternoon, but they also get to play in any Volo City league for free. Yes, you read that right- FREE leagues for volunteers! Can’t make it? There are SO many other ways to get involved! Everything from donating to participating in Kids Week events supports the Volo City Kids Foundation. Has your team hit a mid-season slump? Is your star player out this week?

Always wanted to help out the Kids Foundation but didn’t know how?

Well, you’re in luck! Certain kickball leagues will have the opportunity to BUY-A-RUN to help you achieve sweet victory while also supporting our free kids leagues! For $10 per run, your team can buy up to two (2) runs to be added to your score at the start of your game.


  • Cash Only
  • Runs can only be purchased through a Volo City Staff member on the day of your league
  • Runs MUST be purchased prior to the start of your game. You may not buy runs after your game starts.
  • MAX 2 runs per team


In addition to spreading awareness of the Volo City Kids Foundation, we will be raffling off two amazing prize packs all night Monday August 7th at Latrobe Banner Field and  all day Saturday August 12th at Bonvegna Field! All Volo City players are welcome to enter, and we will notify the winner of each prize pack on August 14th.

Raffle tickets are $3 each, or 5 for $10, and will be available to purchase at the gate of Bonvegna Field. Simply write your full name and phone number on your ticket and drop it into your favorite prize. Prize packs include a Volo City Merch Pack and Bud Light Swag Bags!

All proceeds from these events go directly to the Volo City Kids Foundation to help run free quality sport leagues for the youth of Baltimore.
